We have continued to add the latest equipment to provide our customers with a quality driven product. Whether you need a customized extrusion for your next project or one of our standard extrusions, we maintain the flexibility to modify the procedure to meet your needs. All of Tri-City Extrusion's products are manufactured to meet the 2013 Aluminum Association Standards.

Delivery. Our company trucks, contract carriers, or customer's trucks deliver finished products. For customers needing small quantities or expedited shipments, reliable common carriers are available at competitive pricing. Weekly delivery routes to select geographic areas are available.

Plant Size

Main Plant: 103,000 Square Feet
New Plant: 125,000 Square Feet, with the opportunity to expand with another 85,800 Square Feet.

Extrusion Capabilities

Tri-City Extrusion, Inc. is an extruder of 6000 series aluminum with four computer-controlled lines. 

The 1400-ton system produces extrusions up to 7-inch circle size, with volume up to 2,600,000 pounds annually.
The 2500-ton system extrudes profiles up to 8-inch circle size, with volume up to 9,000,000 pounds annually.
The 3500-ton system extrudes profiles up to 12-inch circle size, with volume up to 18,000,000 pounds annually.
The 5700-ton system produces extrusions up to 14” circle size, with volume up to 40,000,000 pounds annually.

The 5700-ton press can also extrude parts that are 23” wide by 2” tall and 15” wide by 7” tall. Although extrusions are normally produced to the current Aluminum Association Standards and ASTM Standards, TCE maintains the flexibility to modify procedures and processes to meet specific customer requirements.

Alloys

Tri-City Extrusion offers billet to third party customers as part of a strategy to balance our long-term metal position and provide some measure of load leveling during the various industry cycles.

The points below summarizes the specific alloys that we currently offer for each press:

  • 1400 ton press uses 7 inch billets of 6063 and 6005A series alloys
  • 2500 ton press uses 8 inch billets of 6063, 6061, 6005A, and 6101 series alloys
  • 3500 ton press uses 12 inch billets of 6063, 6061, 6005A, and 6101 series alloys
  • 5700 ton press uses 14 inch billets of 6063, 6061, 6005A, and 6101 series alloys
